Lead Electrical Installer
Sustainable Electric Solutions designs, sells and installs residential and commercial solar and EVSE systems all over Southern California. We are one of the largest EVSE installers in the Los Angeles area, based in the City of Pomona. Do you want to join an established company in a growing industry? Sustainable Electric Solutions is looking for Lead Electrical Installers to join our team. We service clients from North Orange County to North Los Angeles County, and Santa Monica to San Bernardino.
Job description
Responsibilities
Install electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices required for the installation of commercial and residential solar PV systems and electric vehicle charging stations.
Supervise helper(s) in performance of same duties.
Manage on-site inventory and communicate needed materials to warehouse manager and project coordinator for ordering.
Ensure systems meet company standard job specifications, the National Electrical Code, and relevant local codes. Follow torque specifications, manufacturer's specifications, industry standards, and the company's accepted best practices.
Perform periodic maintenance and inspections on PV and EV systems, including the electrical, mechanical, and data acquisition system.
Qualifications
General Electrical experience required.
At least 2 years of solar installation/troubleshooting experience.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.).
Attention to detail.
Ability to read and follow plans and directions.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
